RISD at Progreso
Last week, when I was teaching my students about places in the community, they found the word “museum” and most of them did not know what a museum was or visited one. Our beloved job developer, Renée, contacted Elena Calderón-Patiño, Family Programs Coordinator, and Gloria Rubio, RISD Museum Ambassador, and they decided to visit Progreso to talk to our students about the RISD museum. They even invited them to attend Free-for-All Saturday, this Saturday June 27th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This is an event for families, and they will explore the galleries, attend art-making workshops, and performances.
